MUSCATINE, Iowa–Trinity Muscatine Friends has made a $50,000 commitment for the new physician clinic to the Community Foundation of Greater Muscatine. Treasurer Judy Ward and President Pam Heidbreder presented Charla Shafer and Jamie Leza with a  $25,000 check, first half of the commitment.

Friends was called MGH Auxiliary in the early years of the Muscatine Health Center. As the hospital and the physician clinic affiliated with Unity Point Health-Trinity, the organization became Trinity Muscatine Friends. The purpose remains the same – to support UPH-Trinity Muscatine with funds and service. With COVID, volunteering opportunities have dwindled but the group still operates the Window Box Giftshop and holds fundraisers, as able, to support its mission.

Current Fundraiser –Tru Earth Laundry Detergent Strips 

These strips could reduce 700,00 laundry jugs in recycling bins and save customers money by more efficient packaging. These are available in the Window Box Giftshop in fragrance free or fresh linen scent trial -2strips, or 32 strips fragrance free.
